Vocalist Erika Johnson, an East St. Louis native, started her jazz career studying under saxophonist Ron Carter in the famed Lincoln HS jazz band. She’s taken that early experience, along with her days singing with the late legend Willie Akins, and has become one of the best jazz vocalists on the St. Louis scene. This performance has Erika giving us her Jazz Interpretations of the music of the Rolling Stones. Backed by a killer band, Ms. Johnson delivers a set full of groove and good times!
